Stress in a word
When we pronounce words with more than one syllable, we stress one of the syllables. The stressed syllable sounds stronger. The stress can be on the first, middle or last syllable of a word.

 My dream home is at the foot of a hill. It is very large. It has two floors. There are many trees beside it.
 There is a living room, a kitchen and a dining room on the ground floor. I can invite my friends to sit there and chat with each other. The kitchen is big and clean. My mother cooks nice meals in it, and we can enjoy the meals in the dining room.
 On the first floor, there are four bedrooms. We can have a good rest there. There is a study for me, I can do my homework there. We also have our own bathrooms. There is a home cinema on the floor. I often have a good time watching films with my friends.
 There is a football field behind my house and a swimming pool beside it. It is a great home!
