Simon is collecting some information about different countries. Help him read the numbers correctly.

Ordinal numbers
We use ordinal numbers to order things and events. We use them to talk about dates, floors, positions, etc.
Eg: Women's Day is on the eighth of March.
 Our flat is on the seventh floor.
 He is always the first to come to school in our class.
序数词
1 = one → 1st = first
2 = two → 2nd = second
3 = three → 3rd = third
4 = four → 4th = fourth
5 = five → 5th = fifth
6 = six → 6th = sixth
7 = seven → 7th = seventh
8 = eight → 8th = eighth
9 = nine → 9th = ninth
10 = ten → 10th = tenth
11 = eleven → 11th = eleventh
12 = twelve → 12th = twelfth
13 = thirteen → 13th = thirteenth
14 = fourteen → 14th = fourteenth
15 = fifteen → 15th = fifteenth

基变序，有规律，词尾加上th。1 2 3，特殊记，尾字母t d d。8加h，9去e，f来把ve替。ty变成tie，后跟th莫迟疑。几十几，几百几，变化个位就可以。
第一句话：序数词尾加th
英语中的序数词一般是“th”结尾。
four -- fourth
eighteen -- eighteenth
第二句话：一二三特殊记
英语序数词中的第一、第二和第三不是“th”结尾的，他们有各自对应的单词。
one -- first two -- second three -- third
第三句话：八加“h”九去“e”
基数词eight和nine变序数词时也有其特别之处。
eight -- eighth nine -- ninth
第四句话：f来把ve替
英语中基数词five和twelve变序数词时，有相同的变法，他们都是把末尾的两个字母“ve”改成“f”，然后再加“th”。
five -- fifth
twelve -- twelfth
注意：
（1）英语数词中整十（二十以上）由基数词变序数词的方法：把末尾的字母“y”变成“ieth”。
twenty -- twentieth eighty -- eightieth
（2）英语数词中第二十以上由基数词变成序数词的方法：十位数字保持基数词，个位数字由基数词变成序数致词。
twenty-one -- twenty-first
seventy-nine -- seventy-ninth
